What To Expect

Good Shepherd Lutheran High School (GSLHS) is designed to stimulate creativity and innovation with a focus on Vocation (God’s call on our life of service to Him). The Humanities, Science, Technology, Mathematics, and Physical Education will be taught through the Biblical worldview. The belief that deeper learning occurs through active inquiry and creative expression on the part of the student within a community will guide students through a personalized learning plan.

The core elements of the school blend the mind of a scientist or technologist with that of an artist or designer. Flexible thinking and creative problem solving will be integral elements in all student experiences. The conviction that students should be inspired to be innovators and creators by providing them with challenging learning opportunities through a project-based environment will be demonstrated by all stakeholders in all areas.

Christ Centered Learners: Students at Good Shepherd Lutheran High School (GSLHS) are part of a learning community that honors Christ in all areas of life. This strong nurturing community will allow students to experience God’s grace and love for them as they face the many trials and joys that go hand in hand with adolescence. Daily community devotions; Leading in Faith Together (LIFT) groups, Bible study, and Scripture provide opportunities where students strengthen their relationships with Jesus.

“Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock” (Mathew 7:24, ESV).
